smoke coming from steering column
I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand-Am and every so often see a small waft of smoke (or possibly powder) being exhaled from somewhere behind the steering wheel. I suspect it is smoke since it travels straight up like a candle that was just blown out. This happens infrequently and only once (if at all) during any trip. Does anyone have any thoughts about what's happening? Could this be electrical or perhaps part of the airbag system?
Let me know what you think, Thanks!
