Okay, first, I have to wave the BS flag about the 2-engine Tiburon. That just makes no sense. A car with an engine in the trunk would be...an engineering nightmare.

About the guys who wanted the GT-40, that's actually one of 2 favorite cars, (along with the Jaguar XJ-220), but it's better suited to road/track racing. (Mid-engine, wide, squat). For the 1/4 mile I would want something along these lines:

1966 Shelby 427SC. Nitroused, Twin Turbo 427 Cammer engine. (1500HP?) Then, remove anything that isn't absolutely necessary.

what car would you take in the 1/4 mile...

if you could take just one car what would it be. no cars with nos though cuz if you can't win on your own car and need some help, then get a different car.

How am I stupid for being right?? Why dont you believe it, Its possible to have 8 turbos and 2 superchargers on a 18wheeler truck with the back truck or whatever it is taken out. I saw it and it was a record of the fastest truck going 200+ mph.

I was never much of a domestic guy, but i started researching ford gt-40's and found out how much of a great car they are, and how much power they can handle, so yes that is my 1/4 mile car.

i love the sound of the GT-40 in gran turismo 3, i would take a concept cadillac 13.6litre with a V16 with handwoven silk carpets and 1000hp/1000lbs torque

I'll take a 5.0 mustang with stage 3 heads and a Paxton Novi Blower and various other little mods.

Total setup $12000 including the car.
