LOL, yeah, I think the twin turbos is a bit overkill for Buick's demographic. And I never understood the Cadillac roadster either.

You mean besides the Riviera interior and performance lacking engine? There's only one Buick that's ever made me go "Where can I get one of those?" and that was the 87 Buick GNX. Now that's a hell of a Buick.

I don't think they'd want to be seen in the Grand National either, but that car was successful.

EDIT: elchango beat me to it, although I disagree with some of what he said. The earlier GNs were nice too, not just the 87 GNX. The old boats with Wildcats under the hood are sweet, and I kind of like some of the newer Regals/Rivieras that are SC'd.

Don't get me wrong, I like the old school Buicks of yestercentury. It's the post 80's Buicks as well as Oldsmobiles I never really liked (with the exception of the Grand National and the Supercharged mid 90's Riviera). I liked the Riviera becasue it tried to push the envelope with it's styling. It was massively big, yet somehow it looked sporty. It didn't share designs with anything. It had a cool interior. I really liked it.
