1993 Mazda Protege

Ok i was wondering.. well let see... i am just getting into imports and i bought this car for 1200 and it ran nice the mech even said wow you got lucky ... but i was wondering if this is a good car for racing... well like for a begining car... if you dont know this car is marked to 150+... it was my grandpas car so i think that why i got it for so cheap .... well let me know guys

Heck, if the speedometer is "marked to 150+" then that must be what it's capable of. Why not race your friend with the Tempo and find out?

It all depends on what you mean by racing. If you mean being stupid on Main Street on Friday night here is the answer. No, no car is good for street racing. If you mean running brackets then yes, it's as good as any car if you know how to drive it.

no i go racing at the tracks .... some times it 4 laps or up to 20.... or there is just straight out drag ... i beat the temp already
