Hey guys

[b]I have a 96 Talon Jeep Eagle, Love it. Repoed it from my daughter when she quit making payments. Bought it new in 96,....no clutch problems un till 2003, at the time it had...155k miles on it. I take good are of it.

A dodge dealer in Southaven Ms put in a new clutch, for ......!!!!......1350 bucks...ouch ! Now after 3 years, it is making a clanking sound when I push the clutch to the floor, and the 5 speed is hard as hell to shift. 3 years, is all a factory clutch will last..!! Is the clutch going out, or can it be adjusted or partial repair??? Thanks

Mike in Memphis

is the sound repetitive while the clutch is in or only when you push the clutch in? sounds like it may be a throwout bearing
