Removing car paint

You guys are great answering all the questions that i have so here is another one:

Along time ago, some paint got onto the side of the truck when we got into a very slow speed accident and we rubbed up against a wall. None of the paint on the truck got scratched off, but a little bit of the paint from the wall scratched onto the truck.

Is there a way to take this off ourselves? (the truck is burgandy and the paint is light pink if this is helpful).

Thanks in advanced!

How big is the spot? I once got spatters of dark blue paint all over the back half of my car. No idea where they came from. Just tiny specks all over the place though, and not one big spot. It was as simple as taking a thumbnail and gently scratching the foriegn paint off. No scratches, no dark blue paint anymore. I'm not so sure that this will work for you though...

3M heavy duty rubbing compound on a polisher, then a Meguires fine polish, followed by Meguires #9 finishing glaze.

A claybar should take care of this. Even if it doesn't get all of the excess paint(which it should), it will remove all of the other junk from your paint.
