98 Audi A6

How many miles can a 98 Audi A6 take about? im lookin at 1 that has 112k which is a lot but not sure how they do mileage wise. Anyone know??

It all depends on the previous owner and their manner in keeping the car.

my 96 vauxhall has 106,000 miles on it and its running in mint condition!!!

It depends alot on the car. One of the most vital pieces of info you could have supplied, you left out......Petrol or Diesel?

Which one is better?? I would guess petrol but then again I have almost no experience with diesel. I know that you get better mileage with diesel. However, from my understanding diesel doesn't burn as clean so perhaps it's harder on the engine?

VW diesels are renound for their reliability and versatility, atleast over the petrol engines! These days there's really not alot between petro, and diesel, but diesels are certainly built to withstand higher mileages, given their commercial roots!
