You know you are going fast when...

You explain to the officer that since your speedo doesn't go past 130, you couldn't have been going that fast...

You know you're going too fast when... Your face looks like you are riding a NASA centrifuge when you drive the car.

You know you're going too fast when... You need parachute braking.

You know you're going too fast when... You measure the fuel you use in "gallons per mile."

You know you're going too fast if braking for the exit begins beyond the range of sight.

You know you're going too fast if your odometer starts going backwards.

You know you're going too fast if the rear end on your car starts vibrating like it's going to shake itself out of the spring shackles and spiral off down the highway. (actual sensation in my car, thanks to improperly balanced wire wheels)
