new help

hey guys im 16 and a half and i just got my licnec i found 2 cars that are relativley cheap and the same price... i found a 2000 Mazda Protege DX with 96,000 miles and a 1995 BMW 318Ti with 106,ooo miles i cant decide between the 2. iive been looking dfor a while and i think these are the 2 most reaseonalbe o yeah there both about 2500$ which one u guys think

First and foremost I hope you've driven them both first and then came on here and asked.

I don't feel like looking up the book on the BMW right now, but that Mazda seems really cheap. Very suspicous.

I've heard Bimmers cost a lot to fix, and the car is 12 years old. Looking at the mileage it's been cared for, but things will still need to be replaced. I don't know what your financial situation is, but if you're looking for a reliable daily driver I'd lean towards the Mazda. Still though, it seems too good to be true.
