Have 93 Cutlass Supreme, driver door very hard to open. Handle feels too easy to move. Got door panel removed, was going to pull inside door mechanism but it does'nt look like I will be able to hook up the links to outer door handle. was going to bend rod for outer handle? but not any room to get at it! really need help, my truck just started leaking A/F. need help so wife can drive her car.

You shouldn't have to bend anything, unless something is broke. Why can you not hook up the linkage?

Talking Door handle

There is no room to get my big paw in there. Unable to reach w/pliers, no openings big enough and if I take the "door handle" assy. off inside the link would probably come off. In that case, how will I be able to put it back on?
Any and all help is gratefully appreciated!

In cases like this we occasionally cut a bigger opening. Would this help?

Is it a 2-door? Does the door sag when you open it? Could just be the door rubbing on the rockers. If so, it's just hinges...unless the holes are egged.

Simple>difficult
