If the thief(ves) is semi-intelligent on his choice to steal your vehicle (if it truly is almost one of a kind), it's gone. It's either in Mexico by now or on a ship going overseas.
On several trips to Russia and Ukraine, one would NEVER think to see vehicles with U.S. plates...heh. I've seen a few.
