OBDII Complient

I was wondering, are 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix SEs OBDII complient?

OBDII, adopted by California in 1989 (and later by EPA) and required on all 1996 and subsequent model-year vehicles, The EPA corrected shortcomings of OBDII with the establishment of performance standards and a great deal of standardization 1996.

If it is a California car it could be. If it is, then OBDII is pasted all over the car with big stickers. My best guess on the Grand Am is NO. My 91 Sunbird is OBDI.

WRONG!!!

1996 AND NEWER are OBDII complient, 1995 and older are NOT. There is no "Could be".

A California Smog Certified Tech with 14 years in smog, 28 years in the bay.

can't you go to another forum and give them asshole answers to questions asked over 3 years ago only for the purpose of being an asshole? flaunting your "qualifications" without any real good reason is a pretty strong indicator of your feelings of inadequacy...
