well

My boss just got his HR Holden Premier back from a several year resto. It is absolutely immaculate in the body ( didnt touch the motor, but everything else was done ) It is a ripper it looks brand new. and i want one
hahaa
not an HR but a similar model. I cant believe how nice it is. the chrome paint, interior, its immacualte i like. He got it valued at 15 G's so that is good for him.

But it used to be a real shit heap according to the other workers. Complete rust bucket almost a write off, It copped a caining i think, but now it will be his immacualte Church drive to car.

And well i didnt know but i though the HQ's had the 186's in them still but they dont apparently. I just thought the 173 was a Torana motor, but i was wrong??

And i also thought that the HJ was the 1st Statesman model, But i was wrong also, it was the HQ.

anyways, i am seriously trying and considering getting into a HQ and going curcuit racing. They just race the 202's so thats not too hard, but somehow i want to make it work

Sounds cool ... I'm not too familiar with when GMH did what with their engines. I know my mates HQ (well, both of them) were 202's.

how much did your boss spend on the restoration?

Are you ready for the big clash on Sunday?

Yeah the game should be good
Lions really are the best team still
So if we dominate you like we have in the Last 2-3 years, no matter where played AHAHAA
then its a good test for the Weagles i reckon

Dunnno how much was spent on teh HR But it was Many years, at least 2-3
The boss didnt even care, cause i asked just 2 weeks ago, and he said I dont know havent heard for ages. AAHAHAA Very much a worry later type of person. But the restorer guy, does a real good job on it. The years spent on it was cause they couldnt find enough good panels for the car, So id suspect
well could be anywhere from 10-20-30 grand? spent ( ya can never tell really ) and its rude to ask, But he did say the paint job alone was 1600 which is a fair bit, but normal i suppose.

Yeah i always thought the HQ's were 186, but i was wrong
hahaha
ill get over it though

Yeah, the Eagles are prob the form team at the moment ... along with Melbourne.

I wouldn't be so quick to write off the Lions yet though. If they can scrape into the finals then it's game on. Especially if:
Voss gets fit
Lappin gets fit
Notting's back
Jonathan Brown is back
Charman's fit
Simon Black gets some game fitness in

etc etc...

I'm not saying they're dominating now, but they've still got some world class players who aren't playing at full potential (or at all in some cases).

Congratulations though, it was a good win.

Hmmm

gee the eagles have a good run though

They got their home games, and they got Magpies and Richmond at the MCG, and Hawthorn in Launny must go see it. So realistically they've got about 7 'easy' wins ahead.

Although a lot of things DO happen

But they'll do good.

hmm

lets talk cars

no

maybe this is interesting enough
