Yeah, I know...I wouldn't race in town, never have. I used to do mountain racing when I was a little younger...

But I would make sure to find Empty roads out in the middle of nowhere

No, I never condoned any form of street-racing.

Not everone has decent and affordable racing facilities nearby.

Is that an excuse for taking other's lives into your deadly hands?

Then start some, or don't effin DO it. How hard is this concept? Are you so immature that you can't control your impulses to endanger everyone else?

"Oh, my God! I'm in a fast car and I have no control over my right foot! But that's ok, as there are no track facilities next door, and I'm unable to control myself to get all the way to the track. And I'm so self centered that I have to do it even though I know it's wrong and dangerous, as it's 'fun' and thus it's going to happen whether anyone else likes it or not!"

What a retarded justification.

It maybe a retarded justification but quite a few racing drivers were brought up from the mountain roads because they weren't rich and they didn't have friends or relatives in the business. However their dedication to become a professional racing driver and to practise regularly has proven that you don't have to be from a rich family to become a good racing driver.

For example Keiichi Tsuchiya

Somehow I don't think that stereotype attitude was on his mind.

I just believe that better and cheaper facilities for performance driving will encourage more people to take it off the street. Just like skateboard parks reducing the number of skaters terrorising the high street!!

I never said I was a street racer-hell my Ford Ka could not keep up with a Vauxhall, i was suggesting why it's still being done so sorry if you had any assumptions.

Let's use a popular form of justification: Utilitarianism

okay, I can;

A. Become a professional Racer, making millions of dollars, but

1. I have to kill 4 people from my reckless driving
2. I have to total 5 cars, driving up innocent other's insurance rates
3. I have to spend thousands of dollars that could be doing something productive. or..............

B. I take it to the track.

1. I don't kill anyone
2. I get a cubicle job
3. I raise a family
4. I live a happy life
----------------------------------------------
Somehow, I'll go with the latter.
