Best drivers car.

in your opinion what do you think is the best streetlegal drivers car ever made. personally i think the new 400hp ForcedFed lotus elise is, if not the best than definitly one of the best. it has the same power to weight ratio as a mclaren f1 and it's slalom is around 76mph. ForcedFed just hasn't quite finished the kit yet.

How about the Skyline? It's admired by almost everybody, and has respectable handling, and goes pretty fast.

I usually think of small sports cars like the previously mentioned Lotus Elise and the Honda S2000.

personally i don't think the veyron is a good drivers car. it's too heavy and it has too many gizmos and what not. i'm talking about cars. cars that handle good and that you could take on a track and not get lapped by every one with a peugeot 106 rallye. i'm talking cars that are stripped of every aid, like a racecar, but still street legal. like the elise i talked about earlier and noble m400's and tvr sagaris and caterham r400's. you know stuff like that, not cars that weigh so much that they handle like a bus.

A Veyron would blow every car you mentioned away...

In my opinion, the best drivers car, BY FAR, is the RS 200 EVO.

in a straight line, no dought, but around a track the ForcedFed elise would destroy a veyron. it has the same power to wieght ratio as a McLaren F1! and it's slalom speed is about, i don't know, 10 or 11mph faster than the veyron. plus with 400hp in a car that ways less than 1800lbs i'd say a car that weighs over 4000lbs with 1000hp would be a bit down on the handling side, don't you think?

Yea screw the Veyron...it's probably going to not even be able to hang w/a SL65 AMG handling wise...

Think of a 980hp tank...not exactly the essence of handling and driving bliss

I'd take the Lotus Elise, Porsche 911 GT3, 3rd Gen Mazda RX7, or Ferrari F40
