UUUMMM, just keep arguing to him about lowering the price at least 500 dollars more, look at some more trucks at www.autotrader.com and tell me if you find a cheaper one

Here's what I'm thinking. My mom is out of town, we told him and told him she comes back by the end of the week. He said he'll call sometime at the end. Obviously he'll call if he wants to sell this thing. So when he does I can be like yeah, I've been looking and found some other ones like this truck for a lot cheaper. Then we see if he goes for it and will be like well I can beat that.

1998 Ford F-150 with the 5.4L Triton V8. Should be $8000 or under if you dont opt for the 4x4 driveline.

I know what you mean man. Those S10s sound so strained when you really put your foot in it to get up a hill or pass someone.

The V6's are a lot better though but still for a truck it should be a little higher. My 94 S10 Blazer has the 4.3 liter and it hauls with heavy loads and even with the transmission slipping

an s10 with the 2.5l 151cid "iron duke" would be a great first truck.those motors last forever and with the 5speed can handle more than expected. the 2.8 and 5speed are also great. but ive heard that toyotas are good trucks. they still cant beat american trucks because you can get parts and engines at any junkyard. if you want power look for a v8 and 5speed, chevy, ford, dodge all heve great trucks, and they have little trucks good on gas with enough power for anything someone your age would need.

Good for you, very nice truck. The prerunner is nice because it is lifted a little bit higher than the stock Tacoma
