Completely forgot about BMW. Thanks for the reminder.

Unfortunately, the insurance for the C5 would probably kill me...

The lumina would be my A to B car, and the Gixer would be my toy and date-mobile.
Taking girls on dates on a sportbike? that's a new one.

I looked but didn't see if anyone had posted about this. The Z24 is a Cavalier while the Z34 is the Lumina.

OR another option is, because I am mostly Mustangs, is something like a 96' GT converted to an SVT cobra, will make insurance much lower, the gas mileage isn't too bad. I know one for sale for 7500, converted, tuned, andmakes 320.3rwhp and 315 pounds of torque with only a few bolt-ons! Kinda rare to get that just out of it's few bolt ons only around 30k miles I believe and convertible.

Nice, Nice. And I did some further calculations: I'll only be putting on around 7-8,000 miles on this car a year. This kinda cancels out the warranty requirment, and I can fix most of the problems that can/might arise.

Although, I have to ask why I should get a mustang, when a motorcycle beats it out in pretty much every performance category (except braking)?

Just a thought, I don't know how insurance on fast motorcycles compares to fast cars. And of course depending on where you live, safety of your vehicle may be important, as taking a girl out on a date on your motorcycle compared to car, a car can be locked up a bit better, although in the end if someone wants to vandalize your car then will. Just as well I guess it is personal preference to which you would rather have. And if you are more into cars, I think this would be a great buy.

I can understand that part of it. The thing is, bikes like that aren't DESIGNED to be ridden two up. It's the most uncomfortable thing in the world. Not to mention dangerous unless she has her own set of ridning gear. Or are you going to be squid who rides around in flip flops and a tank top?
