Suzuki GSX-R1000 > Hennessy Viper

You know, i've always wondered, why do people buy cars if they want to go fast? If they want extreme speed,w hy don';t they buy a motorcycle? A stock GSX-R1000 beats any stock prodution car out there in the quarter. ANY production car.

Hell, the R1000 takes on a lingenfelter/hennessy tuned car. why do people go for cars like this one;

or this one;

When a stock 10,000 bike, or even the most expensive, a 30,000 bike;

can take the fastest car out there in the quarter? what gives? Do people just want to go fast and have a daily driver at the same time? Or is it all a horsepower game?

here's a list of some times;

Someone point out the flaw in my understanding, as I have to be wrong somewhere.
