Lightbulb Jumper Cable Redesign

I am a product design student at Purdue University. I am currently redesigning jumper cables for a the begining female driver. I have been pondering on magnetic connectors to attach to the hex heads on the termial. Please share what knowlege or additional input you may have.

Why not just put some simple instructions on the jumper cables? (So they don't get lost)...

I wonder if a magnetic stick on product would have issues with the electriccal current flowing through it...

Have you tried putting magnetic pads on a connected battery?

And how woudl that make connecting the cables any easier, when the most common problem is not clamping them, but putting them on in the right order? magnetic clamps won't solve that any more than the color coded clamps already should...

Labels.

"To Source POS (+) Term"

"To Source NEG (-) Term"

"To DEAD POS (+) Term"

"To DEAD GND (clean, unpainted metal on Engine)"

Color code said labels accordingly and attach bigger label in the middle of jumper cable with more complete instructions, if necessary.
