Building A System

i did some research on google and i came upon these speakers the eminence kappa pro-12a. here are the specs
-cast-aluminum frame
-12" 400 watts rms 8ohms
-3" kapton coil former
-polyamide-imide coated copper voice coil
-response: 40hz
-frequency: 25hz-5khz
-magnet weight 80.oz
-98 db

is this speaker any good for home audio preferably dance music???

A speaker good for dance music is one with good highs, mids, and bass response, so basically find an expensive speaker

no. nowhere near a low enough low end. 25hz will not cut it. Try to find something that drives down to at least 18.

lol i cant find any bass reflex speakers under 25hz. do i absolutely need 18hz or 25 is good enough??

a lot of dance will drop to at least 18.
