Also, the MDX has better rear seats, i've sat in the second row of the new X5; it's pretty average, but the second row in the MDX is front seat quality, with heavy padding and good support.

I like MDX's too, though I've never driven one or been inside one. I think they look sportier than the X5, thats for sure.

Thanks a lot Cliffy. I'm in the market for a new car, so this concerns myself quite a bit too. I really want to get this off the ground. Porsche has dropped their prices by 10% in Canada. Although there is still quite a disparity, i think its a good start. Hopefully because of Cayenne, and future Panamera competition we can see BMW, Mercedes Drop their price, which will effect Audi and in turn Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, and hopefully the rest of the market.

Beyond all that discussions I agree that there is definitely some views regarding the cost of vehicles north and south of the 49th as these are too high ...

Whored the petition link out at a few places...see if it can spread a little faster

For anyone wondering, here's more information regarding a class-action lawsuit that's been launched.

Thanks a lot man. I'm posting it in a lot of forums too. Canadian finance minister is starting talks with major retailers of goods, but that may stretch to the automakers later. Hopefully we can give him a bit of help with a long list of supporters.
