Well...I saw the surgeon today. They took the cast off, pulled the staples/stitches, and then sent me for an x-ray. Unfortunately, the bone has split apart again, so they sent me home in a brace, and they'll be scheduling yet another surgery on the knee.

Saw him again yesterday, still waiting for surgery to be booked, so i'm still sitting around on my ass at home doing nothing, not even allowed to go to physio

On a positive note though, they took x-rays of my lumber and thoracic spine, and they can barely tell that I had compression fractures of 4 vertebrae
