Been looking for cheap car..

Well i need to find something cheap but with no more than 50k miles on it, ive found some cars but i know nothing about most i was just wondering if someone could just tell me if the car has good mpg and low mantaince / insurance and if you do know, how long it should last me.

some cars so far are--

1999 Mercury Mystique - $4,595.00 - Manual

2000 Kia Spectra - $4,999.00 - Manual

1997 Nissan Maxima - Price: $5,000.00 - Automatic

2000 Daewoo Nubira CDX - Price: $5,795.00 - Automatic
Year: 2000

2001 Mitsubishi Galant - Price: $5,975.00 - Automatic
Year: 2001

1998 Chevrolet Lumina - Price: $5,995.00 - Automatic
Year: 1998

Well I'd say the Maxima is a winner hands down...even if it did have 50k miles on it...they are super-reliable. Furthermore, according to you list it has 1 mile...so if that's true...it's a steal at 5k

Are you sure that's supposed to be one mile? Because even new, they come with about 50 miles...

Yeah i was gonna call after i got opinions on it or other cars if it wasnt nessary i wasnt gonnacall (like if it was arelaly bad car)

But what if you had decided that it was the car you wanted and then you found out that it had more miles on it then you wanted? You kinda would have gotten your hopes up.

Stay away from the Kia, Hyundai, Mitsubishis, Daewoo, and the Sunfire. Go with the Mercury Mystique or the Nissan Maxima. Both very very VERY reliable cars and low matinance.

I'd go with the Maxima, theres tons of aftermarket parts if thats what your interested in, if not their cheap to fix in the ocassion that something breaks.

its a 1997 Nissan Maxima GLE, does the gle make it better / worse? and thanks for th information FordFromHell351 for what to stay away from..
