Well after admiring my dentists Porsche 911 and him regailing tails of how he loved his 911 turbo i have taken a liking for the 911 turbo, the rasp of the boxter engine, the odd concept of an engine out the back and the reliability of a daily supercar, but alas it is a 6 cylinder turbo.. So does that still count?

No. It's been going on for decades, and shows no sign of letting up.

I mean, how hard is it, really, as an automotive enthusiast, to like way more than one or two types of vehicles?

once i learn how to drive a stick , and get out of college, i will def look into the turbo 4 bangers. but i would still prefer tt or sc on a 6cylinder, like the supra or 350z. i have to say no to american muscle, its just not for me.

btw, the skyline's engine is a turbo'd 6 cylinder

Very early Skylines had four cylinder engines....I think. Anyway, I used to chose the turbo'd imports over Muscle, but now I'd chose a classic '60's Mustang over any import!

good move, Cliff...

and i'm sure everybody knows where my loyalties lie...despite being an Honorary Briton, there's a soft spot in my heart for the American Muscle cars of yore...

*high fives Cliffy*
I don't really think that I need to state which side I choose. Just look at all the pictures I have had in my Sig and it should tell you where my loyalty lies.

the best turbo'd 4banger import has to be the evolution, looks awesome, not too shabby interior, legendary 4g63 engine w/ loads of potential, awd. 'nuff said.

yeah yeah, spool your turbos up all you want, but you won't be pulling wheel stands in a fwd or awd 4-cyl turbo
