Now they are saying it was my fault!! HOW!?!? WHY!?!? This is insanity, according to them I was traveling at a high speed dangerous to all the cars, pedestrians and cyclists around me. So i picked up a row with this guy telling him I wasn't in the wrong, and he told me that I had no right to be traveling at that speed, that was his ONLY reply.

I asked him why is it my fault, is it my fault that he was on the wrong side of the road and hit me?

I mean come on, does the guy on the opposite side of the gun get blamed for being in the way of the bullet??

This has literally p'ved me off so badly, and not to mention the fact of the huge dent on the front of my car. Sooooo annoyed, stupid ass London crap heads...

Just make sure next time you kill the bastard.

Legal fight. It would probably be less expensive to pay him what he wants, rather than take it to court to prove that you are right.

In america, if a burglar breaks into your house, and you shoot him in the knee (so that he doesn't die) they can sue you and make tons of money. Our court system is that corrupt. Sounds like it's all over the world also, though.

I dont know if it's the same in London, but bikers and pedestrians always have the right of way. Even if there's no bike lane or cross walk. If they jump out in front of your car on purpose it's still your fault.

what a day you had.. that is kinda unfair. how many witness's were there? did anybody see the collision besides you and the biker? because if there was no one, you could have just said that you was driving at the appropriate limit and that the dude is lying. LOL

It should be his fault for driving on the wrong side.

Find out what you'll be out if you lose.

If he admits he was on the wrong side of the road, DO NOT admit to having been driving "fast" or fast but not "too fast." Let it be on him or them to prove that you were actually travelleing at that speed.

With all due respect. What the hell did you just say?

If the person that had the problem doesn't understand it and asks nicely, I'll be happy to explain

Amercan laws suck, I'm being sued right now for shooting a BB gun on my own property , the maximum penalty is like 10K$ fine and a year of jail

story: we shot pellet guns out our house window one day, had a scope and we were picking off garbage cans across the street my brother pulled the trigger and the principle of the school walked into the scope sight, he swore we were trying to kill him, so the cops came and we gave them our old crappy gun and said thats all we had, no lawsuits or fines or nuthin just good old assassinating fun, but thats canada laws for you works for you and against you. against you in most cases but this time we were lucky. anyway yeah... pedestrians have right of way here too even if it's some suicidal dik who wants to kill himself i guess it's our fault if we hit him

What a cop out You need to stay off the sauce, or something. Thought that was a very simple question. Maybe just not your time of month. Could be, you just can't understand your answer,if it was one.

I don't know about that... Pedestrians have the right of way in a cross walk but they don't if they are J-walking. And a bike has equal rights on the road as long as they are following the laws of the road. Therefore, a bike going with traffic has equal rights but a bike going against traffic is breaking the law.

Now these laws are more stricly enforced in some states and less strictly in others. There may also be some local ordinances that are contrary to what I just stated.
