Converting a Mercedez from Right Hand to Left Hand

I was curious as to what will it involve to convert a car from Right hand drive to left hand. I have a mercedez here in the States which I am planning on taking it to Asia where they drive on the left hand side of the road. I cannot take the car to Asia unless I get it converted? Can any one one please let me know?

Thanks
Kid

I think you can... youll just have to relearn how to drive it... braking your old habbits and what not.

As for an actual swap... it would be easier to buy a new car.
youd need a new dash, interiors, new steering, youd have to drill holes in the fire wall... I dont know how the suspenion is set up in one... but id imgaine youd need all new stearing rack and suspention.

Sorry for that downer.

Yeah, its actually quite a bit of work to change out a car from LHD to RHD and vice versa.

If you know what youre doing it shouldnt be too hard but there is alot of work and money involved. It would probably be cheaper to buy a new car
