Hey is this motor big enough?

What's a big engine to you?
Blig's car? 350 ci? nah
ol' muscle car? 454ci? please!
Monster truck engine? 542ci? for kiddies
Pat Musi racing engine? 632ci? go home wit dat' go-cart

How about that 30,000 dollar engine that was showed on Horsepower TV today??? Anyone else see it?

Get this, bored over and stroked it made a full 1,000 cubic inches. It completely dwarfed a GM Performance crate 502, like it was a Honda engine!!! A 502!

This engine was a full race engine, but it ran on pump gas - so you could build one as a street motor. It was originally for off-shore power boats, but it will accept the engine mounting brackets for your favorite Chevy!

at 2,500 RPM a phat 800 ft/lbs of torque. At 5,000 RPM well over 1000 horsepower and torque! On pump gas! No supercharger, no nitrous, not even a radical cam and timing! Dry sump oiling system, two distributors - yes they use these engines for Super Modifieds at the strip!

Brave enough to put one in your car? To tell you the truth I would like to rid in that car, but even as crazy as I am and a freak about power - I would not build a street motor of this kind, because it would scare even me!

I still can't believed how teeny-tiny a 5-0-2 looked next to this thing! You shoulda seen the heads for this monster! whoof.
