Fastest ""Drivable"" car.

So we all know that super cars under 30k... Corvette, M3 etc you can't really floor it on the street, or you'll spin the tires, among other problems.

So let's be realistic, what's the Most Drivable, yet going as fast as you can, car under 30-33k?

I'm thinking the Carger/300C.

but I like Mercedes Benz better. What do you guys think? Maybe a CLK320 or a C320 sport?

-

What I'm essentialy saying, is you wouldn't take a Ferrari Enzo to the Grocery store, you'd take an SUV, likewise you wouldn't take a Corvette if you were driving ALL day.

The question is, what's the MOST PRACTICAL "fast" car, preferably a benz? (max 30k again, new or used)

you really cant floor any car that makes ample power with out spinning the tires. even wit a limited slip or tcs your still gonna lose traction even if its only for a seccond. its nothing really to do with the car its self. its mostly to do with the tires. street tires are made to last more than a few heat cycles. so there not super soft sticky rubber. so this is kinda pointless. i mean ive even lost traction in the 87 honda i drive to work. i floored it from a stop and the front tires lost traction for a seccond. again even with the honda dog its tires. so what was your question ?

Well I'm looking for something that won't use 32% of the engine power driving oh the highway at a reasonable 102mph.

Personaly I think the brabus 3.8 S v6 for the C class is the best, but I can't find any for sale that already have it, or any to install.

the only cars that will use less than 32% of there available power driving at 100mph (which isnt a reasonably highway speed) will cost more than 30gs. and will still spin the tires when you floor it. my tires start spinning at 1/4 throttle. if i went wot from a stop id just stand still and lose my car in a cloud of dust. again this thread kinda unrealistic and pointless.

lol you're ALL missing the point, I don't mean spin the tires every all the time, and 102 was an exageration but you know what I mean.

I'm talking about a car where you don't have to WORRY about doing it 24/7 something that will essentialy while diriving on the highway not use too little of it's power.

so basicly you want something that handles good and wont top out at 80 mph. and for under 30gs. that makes more since and opens up your choices alot

Exactaly, Elise would be PERFECT, now find me one under 30k =).

Jk it probably isn't Grocery getty enough.

Actualy I think a C320 Benz with 268 Horsepower, would be perfect, but what competitors does that B have?
