Free with Rebate in Advance Auto

I hope this isn't advertising, but I participate in this program whenever they come out with something.

Every month or every two weeks or so, Advance Auto has some products that they'll give you for free. You have to pay at the time of purchase, but then you fill out their rebate card, attach a copy of your receipt and also your UPC barcode from the item you bought, send it in the mail and they send you a check (mail in rebate).

They had discounts on other items, but what I got this month was two wax-as-you-dry products from Eagle one (I think, but could have been someone else) and two Prestone Synthetic fuel injector cleaners plus 0-60 booster. I also got a free injector cleaner...I forget the brand last month and now the ones I just got will probably take me through to the end of the year without having to buy again.

Just thought I'd mention for anyone who likes getting free stuff!

PS: You HAVE to send the rebate request in by the deadline. For instance, the items I bought yesterday have to be postmarked by 10/30/05, else you get ZILCH.

Goodluck!!

Considering you are a regular member...and it is something some can probably take advantage of, I see this as a good way of "bucking the system."

(I know leaving this will eventually come back to haunt me though.)

JaneiR36, did I miss something somewhere? I was under the impression that you were female. Have you been keeping secrets from us like steven has?

As far as this being advertising, I agree that it is not and won't hold it against either of you.
