My local favorite has to be Southern Flyer (a light Lager) from Big River Brewery.
Shit one of my buddies loved that beer, but we could only find it in Colorado. Liked it but never really loved it.

Only today I was thinking about good beers, lol. I used to swear by Foster's, but of late it just seems a little too weak for some reason...almost watered down? I now drink anything, but Stella Artois is borderline for me (always used to be too strong, but recently I've not noticed it so much). I love Bud but it's too expensive over here (in bottles it's about 5 per crate of 20 extra than anything else!). Today I bought a 500ml bottle of Czech Bud to try it out as I've heard about it before but have never tried it. I seems much stronger, yet still very nice. I have never liked Guinness, but then I don't like anything of that type (stout or real ales don't do it for me).

maybe you're getting the Aussie brewed stuff?? No one drinks it here you realise.

If you can get your hands on some Aussie brews, try:
Coopers Ales
James Boag's Lager
Crown Lager

Day to day though, i'm a true blue queenslander drinking my XXXX Gold's

Personally I can't really 'do' bourbon whisky. Or any whisky from south of the 49th for that matter...Definitely like my Canadian Rye Whiskys(Gibson's Finest) or a good Scotch...like Chivas Regal.

I thought that was hilarious! When I was there an American tried to order Foster's and were in the middle of Cape Tribulation and the guy looked at him funny and said something like, "we don't actualy drink that crap". I liked X's when I Was there, but some of the other beers I tried tasted like piss (that cause we piss in it... who can name the movie?)

Beer is the world's oldest and most popular alcoholic beverage. It is produced by the fermentation of sugars derived from starch-based material the most common being malted barley; however, wheat, corn, and rice are also widely used, usually in conjunction with barley. Per sonly i did not like the beer.

I think we all know what beer is lol. What kind of beer don't you like (or just don't like beer in general)?
