hey bub sorry to hear about the clearance thing, atleast they let you know before you left. i had friends who we're stuck in training status for months away from their family just to find out that the job they signed for needed a higher clearance. but when you do the biggest piece of advice i can give you is to make friends and kiss ass. as horrible as it sounds it's the truth. my buddy and i went unnoticed the entire time untill thanksgiving came around and got requested by a command chief ha. but in all honesty it's 90% mental so you should be alright.
