i dont know how many miles the acura has on it it didnt say and maybe the civc has a bag of diamonds in the back but probably not, and ive heard that having turbo on your engine hurts it if its not properly cooled i know about intercoolers but is there another way to cool an engine quickley.

Any forced induction will cause more stress on the engine. The cooler the air is/more of it, the more power it will create and the more heat it will create in turn.

i understand that thats why you can have the engine produce more hp by keeping it cooler i also heard that turbo ruins engines easily from some people is this true cause then wouldnt it be better to just swap engines.

OT...

There's no reason that street cars need to be stock. I've had many purple street cars that were also custom cars.

Any forced induction will cause greater stress on any motor. But a high revving B18C5 (might I add is about $4000+) also has lot of stress on the engine with the insanely high compression and high revving. Sure if you can ruin an engine quickly if you slap on a turbo kit to say an 11:1 CR S2000 and not bother to change out the stock internals and boost it to 18psi. It's all about application. If you make a correct application a turbo will last shorter than your engine will, typically stock turbo cars need the turbo rebuilt after 100k or so miles. So a forced induction engine can last long if you have the right application and tune it properly. Not to mention you can actually save money and make a lot more power with a turbo B18b over the N/A B18C5 swap.

DSMs are good at two things, they are cheap to modify and they break constantly. "Stupid" American cars have great aftermarket, F-body or mustang.

Actually, nitrous is usually the most inexpensive way to add major horsepower to a car. On a lot of small four bangers a $600 nitrous kit can add 50 horsepower to the wheels at the touch of a button. Much better than a $500 cat-back that adds maybe 5-15 horsepower ( on smaller N/A I4 cars).
