Post engine light

can anyone tell me why my check engine light might b blinking n my 2001 kia sportage

Wrong section, and most likely it's due to a malfunction somewhere in the vehicle. Pull the code and we can tell you more.

Thats the "take it to the dealer so they can read the fault codes and tell you whats wrong with it" light.
