Color on clock/ middle console

I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant ES and the speedometer part is an Ice-Blue color but, the clock in the middle console has an off-blue, almost aqua-green color. I was wondering if there is any way that I can change that color to Ice-Blue as well. Is there some kind of tint I can try to stick on top or is the only way to change its color by cracking the thing open? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

The cheapest/easiest way I can think of would have to be doing it yourself. What I mean is going to Walgreens or Office Max, buying those colored folder tabs, opening your clock, and placing a blue tab inbetween the lens and numbers, and reinstalling it. Viola bluer clock.

Some examples...

I hope that gives you some idea.

If you don't know what I mean by colored tabs, here's a pic. It those like colored transparent label holders.
