Stereo clock troubles, please help
Recently my car, a mitsubishi eclipse 91, has been broken into and the cd player was stolen. Today i replaced the empty space with the stock radio. But after connecting all teh cables and wires and such, i found that the clock didnt turn off even when i took out the key from the ignition. I've never heard of a clock staying "on" (as in being visible even without a key) but my friend said his old sentra is like that. I'm afraid that it'll drain my battery and when i try to drive to school tomorrow i'll be stuck.
I didnt set the clock, and also my friend who put it in (since i dont have much car knowledge) said there was no wire to ground it. any ideas what might be wrong, or even if there is anything wrong in teh first place? And also am i in danger if the stereo isnt grounded?
