Yeah, you're probably right, I just love those cars so much, I hate to see one that isn't exactly the way it was meant to be...

Part of me wants to agree, because unlike the 2nd gen RX7, the E30 M3 is a limited edition racing homologation special, which does make it a purer vision of what a car should be. OTOH, it IS still a mass produced mechanical device, and improving our machinery over time is what humans do well. And I love seeing what talented, dedicated car nuts do with their cars, even if it's modify a relatively rare sports sedan to be even faster. Especially if it's done well.
