Yeah, but... It's all pretty impressive until you consider the time, money and technology that's being invested to do what others have been doing for years. These pics are from Darlington which is still the fastest Pro Mod track in the country.

so...theoretically i could lift that body over my head with ease huh? and that 0-100, i dunno...

If you're strong enough to lift 28 pounds over your head with ease then the answer is yes. Personally I have a hard time believing the body is that light but it might be possible. As for the 0-100 mph in under a second, why would you say "i dunno"? That is not an exceptionally quick time for a dragster.

you know, it only says that the body is 28lbs.
says nothing 'bout the cage, engine, drivetrain, etc.
so, why is it so hard to believe?

Because after 23 years working on fighter aircraft and umpteen years working with race cars I'm pretty well aware what carbon fiber, ti, kevlar and other types of lightweight composites weigh. I admittedly have never worked with or even seen the nomex/carbon/kevlar composite they're working with. I'd still be willing to bet that when they say "body" they mean the rear fenders and roof (as seen in the pic) but aren't including the doors, hood, etc.
