The order for front glass installation is as follows:
  1. put rubber around Glass
  2. insert chrome (actually its stainless steel) into the slot in the rubber
  3. then install in window frame

In short, you will need to pull it back out.... Take your time, it is not an easy thing to do and you may even need to find about 4 more hands to help.

For the rear glass, I've used a small flat screwdriver to install the rubber stripe..... but they actually make a tool to do it with.
