John Lingenfelter creation

I recently read about one of JL's recent creations.
Imagine, if you will, a 2001 Chevy S-10 pick-up.
Lower the suspension just a little bit (goes against my grain, but bear with me). 17 inch 5 spoke wheels with black rubber bands around them are the only things to set it apart from stock.
Now imagine this truck turning a 10.48sec 1/4 mile at 132mph.With All Wheel Drive. And A/C.
The 1.4G in the 60 ft and 1G sustained are limiting the automatic transmission because the fluid is being forced to the back of the pan and away from the pickup. JL figures that if he gets the tranny problem fixed he will turn sub 10's.
The 427 CI small block is twin turboed with the intercooler replacing the radiator. the 250F incoming air is leaving the intercooler at 5 - 10 degrees above ambient with only a 1/2lb drop in boost.
Truly an amazing machine. All that with 18 miles per gallon.
