Indeed, I spend probably 45 or so minutes a day on the highways, just where it would be most useful, just before a bridge where the cops hide on the other side, and do it quite often might I add, there's a radio tower right beside it... so my detector goes off every time I drive to or from the city for about 1/2km.

wait wait wait...you know the cops hide there often....that should be your warning to slow down when approaching that area.

its nice for me..i live next to the weigh scales, so any major traps are centered in that area....so im not even up to my top speed by then...

and will they ever learn to have ghost RCMP cars that dont have decals? that makes them so easy to pick out at night...

Exactly. Last summer there were a lot of ghost police in the city, there were probably more or just as many ghost cars as marked ones, almost got caught doing one thing or another so many times.

190 Km/h in 100 zone

I was going to Winnipeg. You could see the highway for tens of miles ahead. Three lanes, just a hand full of cars. Hence, I stepped on it. My buddy was on the passenger seat with the binocular, checking from time to time the incomming cars. 100 Km/h zone and we were going 180 -210 Km/h. Dream like, only better.

The road ahead started narrow down from 3 lanes to one. No cars ahead of us, few dots behind. (the cars we just passed 35 seconds ago).

210... ... Zoom, zoom, zoom... ..

On the incomming lane a 16 wheeler stoped on the side of the road with the flashers... ... I started to reduce the speed.

190... still ok... ..

As soon as we passed the truck we've seen the police cruiser.

This is how there were hidding

When I saw them it was too late. I put the signal and I waited for them.
- "Licence and registration please"
- "Do you know how fast you were going?"
- "Sorry officer but I was paying attention to the road not to the speedometer. However, I believe I was a little bit over the speed limit."

They throw my ass in jail, charged with "Dangerous Driving" which is an offences under The Criminal Code of Canada, fined me with 600 bucks, suspended my driver licence for a year. If I would have been a Manitoba resident they could have had suspended my licence for life

I was stupid enough to be going 130 in a 65 mph zone which I will never do again because they suspended my license and put me in jail for a couple days But that is what I get for street racing And it was at 1 am and there was no other car in the road except me and the other guy who got away but the irony of the story is the cop was my neighbor

Yikes! Thats really scary...do they really not let you ever drive again for one speeding ticket?

I havn't been pulled over yet, and hope not to get caught anytime soon. Maybe I should buy a radar detector.
