I'm saying income tax is a PITA

If you really must know, I think the Fiar Tax is a pretty good idea.

It's a pain because it's a very complicated process. It's not so complicated for students and such, but once you get into the "large income" area and, especially, people with their own business(es), there is a lot that goes into strategy.

Some people earn as little as 8,000pa, but I've yet to meet anyone who actually goes out to work to earn 6,500pa, lol....I guess it's mostly part time workers or people on benefits (benefit doesn't really count because their council tax and rent is paid for so in reality they are earning about 20,000pa, lol). I earn about 23,500pa and I think my sister who has three kids gets more than me, in benefits, lol.
