Help identify this classic muscle car

Hi there,

I have a question boggling my mind.

Last night i was watching a movie "road house" on television, and saw a beautiful classic car, but I"m unable to identify it. I would appreciate any help that members could provide.

Here's what i know.

- The car had a v8
- It had a beautiful set of stacked headlights
- It was a fastback coupe
- And heres the clincher that makes it unique, it had shutters over the headlights which would close vertically from top to bottem.

Thanks.
Mike.

Oh by the way, I'm new to the forum. So i might as well introduce myself briefly. Well I'm a university student in canada, and I love working on cars. My favourite car is of course the mighty gto, especially the ones with the stacked headlights and tri-power!!!

Here's a 1967 AMC Marlin Fastback Coupe... Got the stacked headlights, and the fastback, but not sure about the shutters.

Or the the 1953 Bentley R-Type Continental, below.

What year range would you guess the car is?
