Question Cant fill up Sentra.. wont go to full

Hey guys, so I'm in a bit of a dilemma.
I recently got an 04 Sentra, (got a little ripped off by the dealer, but thats a long story and not so new, I'm sure). Anyway, so here's the problem: When I fill up my car, it doesn't go to full, only about 3/4. My mechanic changed the reservuar, but that didn't help much. Basically lost, confused and almost ready to give up...
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

My friend had the same problem on his altima..for him it was a sensor or selenoid or somethin..the car would basically fill a gallon at a time then shut off, if you didnt wait a few seconds, and tried to keep filling the fuel would basically overflow and start slowly pouring back out. PM Nissan_Altima on here maybe he remembers what was replaced

Check the lines running into the tank. On the 89 i just bought it was spitting gas back out if i tried to fill it to fast. The hose was twisted and smashed. If thats not it check and make sure all of you sensors are working.
