Question low battery indicator

to anyone who may know. My indicator lite recently start coming on. I have a 93 pontiac grand am, V6. My battery is good, however my alternator is not putting out enough amps. This is a fairly new altenator, in fact the second in 2.5 yrs. so I believe it may be my wires. My question, is it possible to purchase replace wiring. I can't seem to find any info on the net. And what is the proper terminolgy for this item.

I would consider looking to get a bigger alternator instead of the stock one. It looks like you are pulling the alternator close to or over 100% most of the time which will cause them to overheat and slowly burn out (produces less and less amperage until it finally just gives out). Instead of the stock one try to get one that is maybe 50A bigger than the current one. That should solve the problem

You can try just replacing the wiring to the battery and ground with lower guage wire(bigger) and see if that solves it though. Bigger wires usually helps out a little
