Chevy Cavalier Stumper
Had new plugs and plug wires installed. Wires were traced to the appropriate spot on the coil pack. Only one cylindar is misfiring. Doesn't the ECM cotrol two at a time? Could it be caused by a worn cam or mistake in installing a push rod? It's a 1993 2.2 motor. Compression (cold) is 125, 100, 100, 125 in that order.
Doesn't the ECM operate by opening and closing the ground side of the circuit as opposed to the hot side. If that is the case, could the injector be grounded out somewhere besides the ECM causing the injector to stay open and flood the cylinder.
