Lookign for a good manual for under 10k

Right now I have a saturn 4 door automatic (96 sl2) which is ok but i want to get me a manual to have some fun with. Looking to sell that and buy a used car. I will probably be able to spend about 10k at the most, so im looking for a high hp 6 cyl manual that i could get used for under 10k, any suggestions on what makes to look towards or even better a make and model? Ive tried looking around on auto trader but since i dotn have any specs in my head like you guys probably have memorized its REALLY hard trying to guess and try to find what i want, so any suggestions would be great (i saw on another post some 17 year old had 25k to spend??? thats depressing...)

maybe look at a 300zx TT, or maybe a supra (probably an older one),

spadassin, a second generation Ford Contour SVT is the best car that I can think of to match your criteria.

Questions, questions: -
Did spadassin look into buying a Ford Contour SVT?
Is spadassin going to let us know what car he ends up buying?
Has spadassin already bought a Ford Contour SVT but just hasnít let us know or thanked me?
Shouldn't spadassin have thanked mazda6man and me no matter what car he ended up buying?
Is spadassin just an ignorant twat who doesnít acknowledge help from other people?

Well I can't think of any right now, but what I would do is go to autotrader or wherever and look at some cars, go to google, put the car's year and then full name followed by "specifications" and look for one of the results that says "consumerguide" on it, since they have the best information.
Good luck

You can really get a low mileage 300zxtt for around $10-$11k...they are great cars, very reliable and are very quick stock (will easily beat a Mustang GT and even a Camaro Z/28 LT1 down the 1/4)...My other suggestion is getting a 98-02 LS1 Camaro. These cars hauled. I found several 98-00 Z/28 LS1 cars (305hp) in the $10k range (on autotrader)...even one 98 SS for $8200 (320hp,335tq had 88k miles on it).

Just on a second note, Of course the Camaro Z/28 and SS aren't 6 Cylinders, but who cares?

I agree with looking into a Nissan 300ZX, if not, look at some older Mustang GT's ('94-'04) and some Camaro's. Good Luck!
