3rd are there any terribly slow cars that with work can be really fast? ya know win a few bets here and there with them not knowing whats under the hood.

what i want to do is put alot of work into over time, spending little bits every now and then to eventually make it really fast, so a fast 0-60 and a quick 1/4.

would like the car to be under 5k and the mods to be reasonably cheap.

thanks

How else is he gonna make money? Have someone else drive his car? Place bets on himself?...but wait that would involve racing...and i dont think he plans to go to the track weekly.

well seems to me that he won't be winning many races if he has no idea on what car to get to mod. Since he doesn't have this kind of knowledge then most likely it won't come as cheap as he expects. From my dads experiences and listening to him talk with his friends who know a great deal about certain cars and such. People can tell whats under the hood just by listening to it or have a basic idea of whats under the hood. He doesn't know what he's doing so lets just keep it that way.

You have to work on a too many assumptions and rely on your total lack of experience grudge racing to reach your conclusion that he's making an implication. You continue to do so even after I've explained why your assumptions could be wrong. Maybe if you stopped banging your head, you'd have some brain cells come back to life and you'll be able to figure this out on your own. Not likely, but maybe.

For only $19.95 you can have any one you want Twinkie. Just don't scare the cat playing with it.

so then, why should he? It cuts both ways .... don't tell him "you won't admit you're wrong" if you won't yourself. It's hypocritical.
