98 GSR: 2,672 lbs, and 170 hp.

That's 15.717 hp/weight ratio.

98 prelude: 2,954lbs and 190 hp.

That's 15.547 hp/weight ratio.

If you go to 99 prelude, it has 200 hp, so its 14.77 hp/weight.

Pretty darn close I'd say. I know the Type R is faster, but I would have a hard time finding one, and would cost more than the prelude, at least the one's I've found did.

In the honda world only 2 4cyl cars in the US make 150tq or more, S2000 (153, now is 162) and H22 Prelude (156). Thats more than enough to sway me away from integras. Besides, in terms of pure beauty the 5th gen prelude ranks very high. I can think only of the NSX, FD and the RX8 as being above it. This is all imo ofcourse, but what do i know

I agree on the looks. My prelude looks simply awesome. Just got back from driving on the freeway, and it takes the curves buetifully without even slowing down a bit. I am quite impressed with the handling.
