In the market for a car cd player..

I'm in the market for a head unit for my car. I won't be putting in any speakers soon, I just want to play cd's for now.

I want to spend around $200 CDN (like $180 USD)

I'm a big fan of Alpine decks, but they seem to be expensive for what you get. I really like Bluetooth ability, so I can pair my cellphone with it.

I found a deck, its a Sony MEXBT 2500. It seems pretty decent and it has bluetooth, and its only $170 CDN.

Is that a good deal, or are sony decks crap? It seems people are always bashing Sony products, so if its junk I don't want it. But to have an Alpine or other good company with Bluetooth you have to buy seperate adapters.

OK, so based on around $200 (maybe up to $300 we'll say), for a decent deck that I can add some decent speakers to later, and maybe having bluetooth, what would you recommend?

PS. I also like the ones that have a USB port for a flash drive...that would be awesome. But I'm sure more expensive.

I really need some advice so any help is greatly appreciated!

Oh...and QUICK. I want to pick up something tomorrow. I have currently no radio in my car. (Unless there are some amazing online deals, in which case I will wait)

I can't say much, but I won't ever be buying a JVC product again. They sent me the wrong warranty info, so I tried emailing them a few times, never getting a responce. I tried calling a few times, but was put on old for a long time both times and gave up. I figured it probably wouldn't break within the warranty period anyways as it's only being used about 5 months out of the year. WRONG! This son of a bitch skips like a Jr. highschooler on 4/20. Terrible customer service, and I got a crappy player. Good thing I only blew like $100 on it.

Hmm, well I ended up with a JVC player. I went to a bunch of stores and looked at all the options. It has a nice large screen with lots of display info, cause I hate those little ones with one scrolling line. It has a USB slot in the front for a USB stick, which works excellent. I won't even need cd's. And it seems to have good upgradeability for speakers and what not. So I installed it a few hours ago and so far so good. Sound is decent on the factory integra speakers, I'll probably wait until they blow up before starting on new speakers.

Thanks for the help guys, NOT.

Should've went with a Pioneer. Pioneer makes awesome headunits.

Go with Boston Acoustics speakers. (4-ways)

Infinity Amp.

And to top it off, two 10s by KICKER.

I'll probably have a "how should i set up a system" thread on a couple of months...right now stock is ok.

I'm loving the USB input...gonna get a 4GB USB stick tomorrow for $40.
