Question just need some help

My fuel guage does not work properly. It reads that i have more fuel than what i actually have. The reading moves up and down for no appearant reason. any suggestions on how i can fix this problem? it's a 1993 corsica with a v6.

Sounds like you have yourself a floating gas gauge.

You probably need a new floater assembly. I have the same problem with my car. But I'm not going to fix mine because I can always fill my tank up when I reach 1/8th tank.

Floater=Fuel Sender Unit?.....If so, that sounds like your problem lol...btw, I'll move this
